A PERFECT SPRING DAY IN FRENCHTOWN, NJ!
Dear friends —
If you ever wanted to come visit my sweet hometown of Frenchtown, NJ, this weekend is the time to do it!
My shop, Two Buttons (which a friend once perfectly described as "a giant pan-Asian emporium of wonders and wildness") is hosting a collective of local artists who will all be sharing their wares on Sunday around our warehouse. And it's going to be a GORGEOUS weekend…
And don't forget to have brunch at the incredible "Lovin' Oven", which is right in the building, convenient for all your bacon and chocolate needs.
And then fling yourself into our beautiful little town and check out all the shops and cafés, and take a stroll on the bike path by the river…it'll be a wonderful experience, I promise.
There's a reason we live in Frenchtown. Because it's The Greatest.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: CAN YOU RECOMMEND ANY GOOD SPIRITUAL MEMOIRS?
(I'm not kidding! I'm seriously asking this!)
Dear Friends —
A visitor to this page asked me the other day if I could recommend any good spiritual memoirs and I thought I would open up the question to everyone. Here's a list of a dozen that I love. To be fair, some of the titles on my list are not quite officially "spiritual" (Jack Gilbert; Abigail Thomas) and some are not quite officially "memoirs" (Mary Oliver; Pema Chodron) but these are a few works that have helped to budge and sooth my soul (or just made me laugh) when I have been stuck over the years.
