The finest compliment you can give an author is to say that you had to slow down at the end of a (500 page!) book, because you didn't want it to end. Such a beautiful response here from Madison about SOAT. Thank you to all of you who are putting on the brakes for the final chapters!

It's a very sad yet exciting day! I finished The Signature of All Things and all of it's splendor. I truly could not put it down, then toward the final pages I found myself reading slower and slower because I just didn't want it to end. I finally had to have an intervention with myself. Please continue to write! I thoroughly enjoyed Alma and the many quirky characters. In your words "ONWARD!" Thank you.
P.S not such a beautiful view but it was suffice for me! 🙂

A beautiful use of HAPPINESS JARS…as a way to begin married life. This was so touching to read! And congratulations, Vona, on the happy news!

Happiness Jar my hubby &hi had our guests help us start at our upcycled/ handmade/ custom written Persian-American wedding on November 2. Each of them were invited to write a moment of happiness they felt during our wedding weekend and leave it in the jar, and now we continue to add to it… One of our happy moments was to return from our honeymoon only to find out a week later that we created a "wedding night" baby– due end of July!!

JUST CURIOUS…How long did it take you all to learn this? With family, with partners, with coworkers, with perfect strangers?

Or maybe still learning?

And when did you realize that this adage also applies to yourself — to the arguments that you pick against yourself, in your own mind?

Still learning that, as well?

Yeah…me, too — but sooooo much better at this than I used to be.
