On my way to Sedona so I decided to stop by the bookstore and pick up TSOAT to read on my flight. I wanted to tell you how full of gratitude I am for the serendipity that happened today! You signed it and I can't wait to read it! It's the little things sometimes!

Here I am with my dear friend the novelist Ann Patchett, at her incredible independent bookstore, Parnassus Books!
Same shoes, each other's clothing, interchangeable heads — that's me and Ann! And we freaky-Fridayed out this year because I just wrote a novel and her new book is a memoir (the extraordinary "This is the Story of a Happy Marriage" — out next week!). So basically, we are the same person, just switching brains temporarily.
