All the Pretty Horses (The Border Trilogy, #1) by Cormac McCarthy. This was the most important book of the early 1990’s for me. I read it while I was working on a ranch in Wyoming. I wanted to be Cormac McCarthy. Which is why so many people now confuse us for each other. Kidding. But I still love him.
