"THERE IS NO LIFE WITHOUT A SPIRITUAL LIFE."

Dear Ones –

I have just floated home from the first night of Oprah's The Life You Want Tour. I don't know whether to cry, to exalt, to pray, or to just sit in stunned silence. Tonight we watched Oprah speak for two hours about her extraordinary life's journey. As the tour goes on, and I get my senses about me, I'll try to update you more on what she has to say. But she started with the quote above. And then clarified that thought for two hours of what I can only describe as The True Believing. I've never seen her so on fire.

"THERE IS NO LIFE WITHOUT A SPIRITUAL LIFE", she said. And then she added, "ANY TIME I HAVE EVER MADE A DECISION IN MY LIFE WITHOUT CHECKING IN WITH MY SPIRIT, I'VE GOTTEN MYSELF IN TROUBLE."

And there was more, more, more. But I am too dazed and tired tonight to report it accurately. Plus, I was sitting between Iyanla Vanzant and Deepak Chopra, and one seat away from Rob Bell, which was making me dizzy and amazed. I had more than one moment of, "What in the world am I doing here with these great beings?" Also, I was looking around that stadium realizing, "Tomorrow morning, I have to speak to these thousands of people."

And I was trying to drink it all in. It's a lot, you guys. It's a lot. But it's glorious.

I am grateful and staggered. More to come.

I have to sleep now, but I send you all the love in the world.

THERE IS NO LIFE WITHOUT A SPIRITUAL LIFE.

Sleep tight, Dear Ones…then: Onward.
