I've loved hanging out with Henry and Alma on the beaches of Antigua. Thank you for this story. And then an invitation to walk through nature here with a Rastafarian – Vorn – who showed me terps dripping from a tree, ginger and mangoes and vervain to make tea, pomegranates, papaya and such richness of nature I felt as though on a discovery haul for Alma. And tales of a man from Madeira who had acquired all the locals land in return for Rum who sounds like their version of Henry Whittaker. So brilliant when a book spills in to real life. Loved it! X
