So lovely…
A friend of this page named Shampa sent me this photo yesterday, of me and Richard from Texas, when we were on Oprah. He was a beautiful, charmed, hilarious, vital friend, and I will miss him forever. I still remember the way he used to answer the casual question, "How are you?" when asked by polite strangers in shops and such. He'd pause, scratch his beard lazily, and drawl, "Oh, it's all gonna be alright…"
Indeed it is.
