Another lovely HAPPINESS JAR!

Hi Liz, hopefully you can just make out my happiness jar. Thank you for this wonderful idea! I am such a whiner and complainer and am hoping that this will help me to be a little more grateful for everything that I have.

Our first, our only: FISHBOWL OF HAPPINESS!

My happiness jar! (Okay, it's a fishbowl!) Last year when I had to have jaw surgery, my girlfriends got together and put loving, funny, meaningful, zany messages into this bowl for me. The idea was that I would have something beautiful to read every time I got down about the pain, not being able to eat, having a very swollen face, etc. The fishbowl helped me enormously, and I have continued the tradition – if I'm having a bad day, I pull a message from the jar and reflect on all the love around me.

I am convinced that the 'Fishbowl of Happiness' helped me to get well much sooner than I otherwise would have. xo
