I want us all to show ourselves some simple human mercy for our essential, existential, eternal insanity.
Because personhood is not always a simple thing, OK?
And we are all doing our best.
So…SHOW SOME MERCY!
Show some mercy toward yourself. Put down the knife you are holding to your own throat, just for a few minutes. Let's all try it, everyone. Today.

The truth is I never decorated my "Happiness Jar" because I didn't think I would stick with it. I started to re-read Eat, Pray, Love this week and felt inspired to finally decorate it. Made some of my favorite origami butterflies. Now it's pretty. 🙂
