Dear Ones!

You were all so sweet yesterday in your praise of the GORGEOUS British cover-design for "The Signature of All Things", so I just had to share more.

Look at the details! From the antique-looking cover, to the orchid-themed botanical plates at the end pages, to the gold-embossed "A" (for Alma, our heroine) hidden beneath the paper cover…and guys, they've even added a red silk ribbon, for holding your place!!!

THIS is what a real book should look like. (I love my e-books, mind you, especially when I am traveling, but with all due respect, no electronic book has ever come with a red silk ribbon…sigh.)

I can't wait to hold this one in my hands — and I can't wait till October and my book tour — which will be taking me to, among other places, the United Kingdom! Here are details (though more dates and more countries shall follow):

Dear Ones —

My friend Priya in Texas sends out an email blessing every day to friends around the world, and sometimes I share them here, when I think they are particularly lovely. This one came in yesterday, and really resonated with me:

"Only trust someone who can see these three things in you:

The Love behind your anger,
and the Reason behind your silence."

dear Liz, just today – it's 1 am – I found the courage that I needed. to write to you. to make a jar of happiness. to put the first two notes inside. to tell you how much I love your book. with a lot of gratitude, from another side of world, Romania. thank you!

(I'm such a pesimist and I think that I wouldn't be able to find a good and nice think to write everyday but maybe I will be happy if in a week it will be a new piece of paper there, in the jar. it will be much for me. and I need to try.)
