SOAT in Romania!

SOAT's arrived in Romania/Italy (we're in-between), together with the other books I've been missing :). Since I couldn't gather all my pets to sit for this, I opted for my rescued ficus (dry to its roots, ready to roll into the trash, but resurrected in a moment of inspiration, and acting mighty grateful for it:) and a painting by Stefan Luchian, a Romanian painter of the XIXth century. Ready to begin!!!

SOAT and a broken foot! (Which is apt, because I wrote this book with a broken foot, which really kept me at my desk quite nicely!)

Off work with my foot in a boot, whats better than my new book, coffee and a sunny Fall day!

MOVIE MONDAY!
Hello loves…
It's been many weeks since I showed the official book trailer for "The Signature of All Things". I think last time I aired it, none of you had yet read the book.
So I thought some of you might like to watch it again…or for the first time, as the case may be.
You'll see beautiful footage in here of "White Acre", and also of the rare 18th century book that inspired the entire novel…
Enjoy!

A friend of this page named Elizabeth posted this on my wall today. I love this quote, which actually has deep classical origins — it's from Cicero (a dude who really would've dug Facebook, I am sure…)
Have a gorgeous day, all!
