Dear ones — I made it!
After six solid weeks of book touring all over the USA and the British Isles (I lost track of the number of towns) today is my last stop…for ELEVEN WHOLE DAYS (after which time, I head to Montreal, Amsterdam and Germany.) Dudes, for real, I have some kick-ass frequent flier miles coming my way!
But anyhow, here is my standard Hotel Room Selfie, this time taken in crisp, beautiful Portland.

Here is a picture of my biophile & non-fiction writer husband, devouring your book in Brooklyn. This man does not read novels – but when I brought it home the other day, he picked it up and now is almost finished with it. A few minutes ago I heard him laughing out loud from the next room. He says, "she totally *gets* botanists."
Patiently awaiting my turn, please help me polish my halo of selfless marital devotion!
