SOAT on the Mississippi River!

Hello again, Elizabeth!

As you know, I've just finished a Kickstarter campaign to fund my book, "Surrendering to Serendipity" about my 90-day road trip following the entire Mississippi River. A friend I had not yet met, but who has followed my blog and FB page, graciously invited me to visit her home on a high bluff overlooking the Mississippi in a beautiful part of Illinois. Because I could imagine no more perfect way to catch my breath before moving into the next phase of my project, I gratefully accepted.

Of course, what I took along was my copy of SOAT, which I have been dying to dive into since I got it several weeks ago. So, here it is – SOAT beside the magnificent Mississippi River!

I am LOVE, LOVE, LOVING this book! I cannot remember ever having the experience of being on page 50 of a 500-page book and already not wanting to reach the end! I love the language, the characters, the science and the delightful surprises. It is truly a masterful work! Thank you for sharing your incredible talent with us all!
