Good morning, Dear Ones!
Happy July 4th!
…and just in case anyone plans to spend the holiday WRITING (because I know that's how most people plan to spend their holidays!) here's a quick little interview I did recently about my own writing process.
Some tips on writing, editing, research, etc…
Have a great day, all!

THANK YOU!!!
Dear Ones —
I just found out that the paperback of THE SIGNATURE OF ALL THINGS will be debuting on next week's New York Times Bestseller's list at Number 5!
I am grateful, grateful, grateful.
To put it mildly, a book like this one is never a sure thing — commercially speaking. This novel was an act of passion and love for me, but I never dared to assume that my readers would necessarily want to come along with me on this particular journey.
How can I say this better?
Ah, here is how I can say it better:
You just made a 500 page novel about a 19th century woman who studies mosses into a New York Times Bestseller!
And people say that books are dead.
I love you for this one, you guys.
I really love you for it.
THANK YOU.
Heart,
LG
