Book of the Day: HEADS IN BEDS, by (my dear friend) Jacob Tomsky –

Guys, seriously, this book is so good. It's a tell-all memoir that my friend Jake wrote about the years he spent working at every level of the hotel business (actually, I met him when he was working the desk at a super-fancy and never-to-be-named NYC joint where I used to stay sometimes). The quickest way to describe this is that it's like "Kitchen Confidential", except about hotels. Also, Jake writes like a natural-born novelist. And he's funny as hell.

I LOVE THIS BOOK.

And it's just out in paperback and climbing the bestseller lists. Jake's story gives hope to aspiring writers everywhere. (I knew him when, everyone! I knew him when!)

So I wanted you to know about it, and that concludes my book recommendation of the day.
