Followers of this page will have heard me speak before about my incredible friend Rayya Elias, who published her first book this year: "Harley Loco: A Memoir of Hard Living, Hair and Post-Punk, From The Middle East to the Lower East Side".
I love this memoir so much that not only did I write the introduction to it, I went on book tour with Rayya this spring (and some of you came to our events — which were awesome, were they not?! NYC, DETROIT, MIAMI — we love you all!)
She's doing one more reading this coming weekend, very nearby to my hometown in NJ — at the Clinton Book Shop in Clinton, NJ. The event is on Saturday June 22nd at 1pm. Don't miss it: Rayya is THE REAL DEAL! An amazing storyteller, an amazing woman, an amazing life force.
