SOAT with some mossy walking boots!

Had a gorgeous walk through a part of our woods which I call 'the moss forest' (very wet and green!) and thought of Alma – oh how she would love it – sacred and spooky at the same time. I didn't have my camera with me, but here are my trusty boots after the walk…

I think this was Oscar Wilde's pithy translation of the wise old line from the Bhagavad Gita that it's better to live your own life imperfectly than to live a perfect imitation of somebody else's…
Also, the older I get, the more difficult it becomes for me to be anyone but myself, anyhow. Whether this is because I'm just to tired and lazy to fake alternate identities anymore, or whether I am settling (like an old house) deeper into my own true foundations, I don't know.
One way or another, let us all make an effort today embrace (or at least surrender to) our essential us-ness!
(And thanks for all the sweetness yesterday, you guys. You are all incredibly lovely.)
Heart,
LG

SOAT in Germany (where I shall be coming soon!)

When I queued up in front of the pay desk at the book shop one of the shop assistants came to me and asked very surprised "HOW did you hear of THAT book?" I replied "Have you heard of Facebook?" 🙂 So here´s my German copy together with cosy candle light and some "Pterygota alata" (we call it "Buddhanuss" = buddha nut).
