A last thought before I go to bed, happy and exhausted, in New Zealand. I just spent the evening with my sweet younger cousin Melissa (born in Minnesota, but now living here in the Southern Hemisphere) who made this offhand comment, which totally turned my head: "Whenever I waited around for life to happen to me, it never happened."
Now she's MAKING it happen. It's gorgeous to see.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing a brave young soul going after it.
ROCK ON, MELISSA. (And to all of you like-minded souls who finally got sick of waiting.)
