A HAPPINESS JAR from South Africa!

Imagination Workshop 2: 29 June 2013 – "Feeling Good"
Happy jars! Each of the child have now made their very own happy jar and taken them home. They will be writing down (or drawing pictures of) any happy memories and when they feel sad, angry or upset, they will open their jar and go through all the pieces of paper 🙂
The venue for our second official Imagination Workshop was very kindly provided by the Marsh Memorial Children's Homes in Rondebosch, Cape Town. One of our goals for this workshop was to explore positive and negative emotions and try to convey to the children that it is ok to feel any emotion, but we do have the ability to choose which feelings we want to focus on and that it is possible to try and convert negative into positive emotions.
